The ADtect® test is an in vitro diagnostic test for the quantitative measurement of gene expression in the blood of patients with memory complaints or cognitive problems. The intended use for ADtect® is to aid in the diagnosis of mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease. It is intended that the ADtect® test should be used together with other clinical evaluations.
The ADtect® gene expression signature is comprised of a unique set of 96 genes, including control genes, of which several are known to be closely linked to known Alzheimer's disease pathology.
